Blogging here has become increasingly pointless. haha, i mean i'll jus brush on the surface of stuff. am always so tempted to stop blogging here but well, there's some kind of sentimental attachment to this space. It has been with me since my uni days and it has seen me through the happiest and also the worst period of my life. Anyway, i probably wont blog much (or maybe even wont blog at all) for the next half a yr here. Join me at Multiply if u're keen. I've been on Multiply since last year and Journal/Photos/Videos there are all for my contacts only. Im finding it a hassle to blog on both sides already. All hell has broken loose and God bless me for the next half a year. And it didn't help that i had a bad start, am running a fever now :(

Have a smacking great year ahead dearies!

2006 was a relatively good year for me. Actions & thoughts wise, i've grown and matured considerably. Its a huge leap as compared to when I was 21. And in all other aspects, i've seen myself embark on journeys, learn and become a better person :)

All i ask for in 2007 is to keep all that up & to even better all that i've done so far :)

Its gonna be one hell of a year again. I can already feel it in my blood n bones. Starting from this week, i forsee the next half a year rocketing past & me being buried in endless piles of assignments and then drowning in the work & stress level during my 10 weeks of practicum. When all that ends, half of 2007 would have been gone. A short break i'll get then and its off to the second half of the year where i'll spend accustomising to my permanent posting & embarking on my quest to do well in my career.

Im excited. Im dreading the workload too.

First installment! Day 1 in Korea

At the Premier Lounge. A place i would never get to enter unless im travelling with my dad. Took the chance to eat free food & drink free wine. hee. Had a glass of Wyndham Estate Shiraz. Wyndham Estate's wine are pretty good. Had a W.E Bin 222 Chardonnay & W.E. Bin 888 Cabernet Merlot on New Year's Day and i like both. The after taste that lingered was smooth & good.

Da Chang Jin's filming site at their NBC studio. Okie, i wasnt really interested in this but its part of the package so why not! We had fun cam whoring there though!

A big fat HOOOOYA from Incheon International Airport (Seoul's Airport)!

Im waiting for my flight to Bangkok. 1 more hour to flight time to Bangkok. The past 6 days in Korea has been really lovely. Quality time spent with my family. Not much retail therapy done coz its winter in Korea and its winter wear everywhere. Nonetheless, i've got some great buys too. A lovely pair of brown boots with heels for just about S$32. Pretty Anna Sui inspired little mirror handphone charms. Little Korean doll handphone charms. And lotsa food stuff. The shopping part was a slight disappointment but yeh, i kinda expected it since its winter.

But the snow and skiing part more than makes up for the lack of retail therapy in Korea.

Mount Seorak : Our timing was just purfect! We started our climb up with no snow falling. As we were approaching the top, it started snowing. Tiny flakes of snow started to fall randomly. They looked like dandruffs on my hair initially! haha. When were at the end of the walking path, we could still walk on the rocks to a higher point. That got increasingly dangerous as the snow got heavier coz the rocks were soon covered with snow and it got slippery. Was such a lovely sight coz in just minutes, you witness the entire place transforming into a pure sheet of white. Lovely! And the snow got heavier and heavier. Superb feeling.

After we got down, we trudged through the heavy snow fall to..... keke, to be continued. Got a flight to catch now!

Skiiiiiiiing's da bomb!

I'm currently staying in the largest ski resort in Korea, Yong Pyong Ski Resort. And i just spent the whole day on the ski slopes! Skiiiiing's fun and easy! I mean at least I felt that it was easy. The adrenalin rush u get from speeding down those slopes! woah! Not those super steep one lah, just a normal one. Superb! if i have to moolah, i'll spend xmas skii-ng every year from now on man!

Anyway, I have so much to blog about from just 3 days in Korea! im so having a fantabulous time! Travelling down to Seoul tml! Spending 3 days there and then flying off to Bangkok straight from there.

I have so many photos to upload when i return to spore man! This is so freaking fun!

Okies, got to go! Cyaaaaas! im freezing my ass off here. Guess whats the temperature outside now? -10 degree celsius. If u think thats damn cold, this is not the coldest, the coldest was yesterday at Mount Seorak where it was raining snow and temperature was more than -20 degree celsius! Every snow experience seems like the first! though i've seen snow numerous times, i get excited every single time like its my first! awwwwwww
